Multi-Site Acute Healthcare Provider
April 2010 – March 2011
In March 2010, Bolt Partners was introduced to the Board of a large, struggling NHS Acute Healthcare Provider which was forecasting a loss of £83m in the upcoming 12 months, driven by a significant reduction in clinical income and cost inflation. A team from Bolt Partners, led by Tim Bolot, was retained at short notice to stabilise the finance function, forecast and manage short term cashflow and to develop and deliver an ambitious £47m savings plan for the year, without adversely impacting clinical quality.
